Tracy Spiridakos

Tracy Spiridakos, a Canadian actor from Canada. She was the Teletoon child's comedy series Majority Rules' Becky Richards. from 2009 to 2010. She was on the screen from 2009 until 2010. She played Annika Johnson on the A&E drama on television Bates Motel. Since 2017 Spiridakos has been a part of the NBC police drama Chicago P.D. As Detective Hailey Upton, Spiridakos is the lead character. Spiridakos was raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba by George Spiridakos and Anastasia Spiridakos, Greek-born restaurant owners. She has two brothers. The family moved to her father's home town, Skala, Greece south of Sparta, a few years after her birth in Canada. They returned to Canada in 1992. She is strongly connected to her Greek family and speaks fluent Greek. Spiridakos began acting in junior high school. She later attended the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. In 2000, she graduated from Oak Park High School. Spiridakos moved to Vancouver in 2007 to pursue acting. She landed her first TV role within a few days, a small role in Supernatural. She continued to appear on television, playing walk-on characters in Bionic Woman, The L Word, Hellcats, and Psych. Spiridakos was a part of the TV movie Goblin and the web-based show Mortal Kombat: Legacy. Also, she had a recurring role in Being Human as werewolf Brynn McLean.In 2009, she won her first lead role on the Canadian Teletoon series Majority Rules!, playing 15-year-old Becky Richards. In 2011 she made her feature film debut with Rise of the Planet of the Apes. She also filmed Kill for Me, a low-budget thriller directed by Michael Greenspan. The film starred Donal Logue, Katie Cassidy and directed by Michael Greenspan. Spiridakos was the character of Sammi in Rags (2012) The Nickelodeon original film. Spiridakos was later offered the main role in Revolution which she played as Charlotte Matheson (survivor in an unimaginative future society) in NBC television. She was a candidate for the role when she attended her first pilot season in Los Angeles. Spiridakos filmed the pilot in Atlanta and the first season in Wilmington. Her performance on the first season of the show was nominated her for an Saturn Award as Best Actress on television. But she was unable to win to Fringe's Anna Torv. The second season saw production was moved to Austin Texas.
