Kaitlyn Ann Vincie

Kaitlyn Anne Vincie (born 10th December 1987) is an American sports presenter and journalist. She is a reporter at Fox NASCAR and hosts the daily news and updates show NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie's passion for stock car racing started when she was issued an pit lane pass and , after graduating from Christopher Newport University, she worked as a reporter at Langley Speedway. She gained attention after her own video blogs on NASCAR were published on stock car racing site SceneDaily. Vincie was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia on December 10 on the 10th of December in 1987. Her family moved to Warrenton following the time Vincie was accepted into high school. Vincie is the daughter and granddaughter of John Vincie and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's grandmother, Eleanor N. Logan was a teacher in the fifth grade as well as her grandfather who was a professor of Bridgewater College. Journalism was something she had always been interested in from the age of a child. Vincie completed her studies at Fauquier High School in 2006. She competed in track and field events and was a coach of the school's team in wrestling for four years. She was victorious in the 800m race of the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie was introduced to Al Pearce, a journalist who mentored and shared with Vincie plenty of tips. She completed her degree at Christopher Newport University in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in communications. Vincie worked as an intern for the university's athletics division. She also was a part of Charlotte Motor Speedway's USAR Pro Cup Series. She wrote a senior dissertation about gender-based disparities in auto racing which focused on female race car driver Danica Patrick. She got fascinated by the sport when she got a pitlane access to the NASCAR All-Star Race. She mentions Krista Voda and Wendy Venturini as her inspirations.
