Michelle Lynn Monaghan Bio

Michelle Lynn Monaghan, born March 23, 1976, is an American actor. She is most well-known for her roles in the films Kiss Bang Bang (2006), Gone Baby Gone (2007, Made of Honor (2008)), Trucker (2008) and Source Code (2011). Her role as Julia Meade, the main character in the Mission: Impossible action-spy show Mission: Impossible (2006), Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol (2011), Mission: Impossible Fallout (2018) has been praised. Monaghan also starred in the first season of True Detective (2014) in the first season of True Detective as Maggie Hart. She was nominated for the Golden Globe Award, Best Supporting Actress. In the drama The Path, a drama series The Path (2016), she played the character of Sarah Lane. Monaghan played the role of Eva Geller on the 2020 Netflix thriller series Messiah. The show was cancelled after only one season. Monaghan was the child of Sharon Hammel (a factory worker) in Winthrop. Her older brothers are, Bob and John. Monaghan is from Irish and German origin, was raised Catholic and graduated East Buchanan High School 1994. After graduation, she moved to Chicago to pursue a journalism degree at Columbia College Chicago and began to model. She has modelled in Milan and Tokyo, Tokyo, Hong Kong as well as Hong Kong, Tokyo and the United States. With only one term left to complete her journalism education in 1999, she made the move to New York to pursue an acting career. Before becoming an actor she worked as models and has appeared in numerous catalogs and magazines. Monaghan's first two credited television appearances, in a supporting role and as Caroline Busse in episodes of Young Americans, which aired in 2000. Her second television appearance was in Law & Order: Special Victims Unified in "Consent" that was aired on January 19, 2001. In addition, she made her big screen debut in Perfume that year as Henrietta. In 2002, she was again in a supporting role in Unfaithful which starred Richard Gere & Diane Lane.

  Alexandra Rose Raisman (born May 25 24th, 1994) is an ex-retired American artistic gymnast and two-time Olympian. She was the captain of both the 2012 "Fierce Five" and the 2016 "Final Five" U.S. women's Olympic gymnastics teams.
