Mila Kunis Bio

 Mila Kunis, born Milena Kunis in Chernivtsi Ukraine on the 14th of August in 1982. Kunis moved to Los Angeles with her parents Elvira (her parents) and Mark (her older brother) at seven years old. The Kunis family only had $250 to their name when they arrived in their new country. But Kunis parents, who both gave up professional careers to move out of their homes, were determined to make an easier life for their children. Mark was a former engineer in mechanical engineering, swiftly was able to find work as taxi driver. Elvira, an entomologist from Ukraine was able to run an entomology clinic. Kunis stated that she did not know the American culture upon first arriving in the United States. "I didn’t understand the people. I was not conversant in the language. The first line of my college application essay was "Imagine being blind and deaf at the age of seven". It was very similar feeling to being a newcomer to the States. It was easy to forget. Milena Markovna Kunis daughter of Mark Kunis and Elvira Chernivtsi in Ukraine was born August 14, 1983. She is the elder sister to her older brother. Her mother is a pharmacist as well as a physics teacher. Her father is mechanical engineering by profession. He doubles up as a taxi driver. When she was seven years old, her family moved to Los Angeles. Rosewood Elementary School was her first option. At the age of nine years old she started acting lessons. She auditioned for commercials, and made her TV debut in 1994 in her first appearance in Days of Our Lives. In 1998, she was given the role of Jackie Burkhart in the hit sitcom "That '70s Show". She received praise for her performance and she was then asked to lend her voice to the character on "Family Guy" as Meg Griffin.
